This week we dealt with Objects and Class. But it marks an important milestone for me. This is the week that I went from wax on/wax off to up the fence/down the fence. In ICM, that translates into releasing myself from two obstructions. 1. The obligation of memorizing syntax and 2. Relaxing my standard for boundary pushing creativity and aesthetic.
Both those things were holding me down from taking in and processing info and relaxing my brain sphincters to believe that I understood the concepts.
Conceptually, I am on board with objects, nesting, even arrays. Whipping out the appropriate code for that is not currently easy or quick, but I now know where to seek code and ideas when necessary. At least a little bit.
I still have grandiose goals for aesthetic and reason, but I'm now biting off what I can chew.
